Bloomington Craft Beer Week and Fest are barely over, and we’re already looking forward to next year. With so many great events during BCBW, and so many delicious beers being poured during BCBF (pictured above), it’s impossible to experience every aspect, so here’s a quick review of some of our favorite parts of last week.
20 years in the making: B-town bottled
We kicked the week off in a monumental moment for us: by selling the first production bottles of beer in our 20-year history. The BBC brew crew signed bottles of Rooftop IPA at Big Red Liquors in downtown Bloomington, and we couldn’t have been happier with the love received from the impressive turnout.
Toure de Biere
On Saturday, April 5th, we enjoyed beautiful cycling weather during the inaugural Bloomington Tour de Biere, a cycling tour of Bloomington’s breweries organized by Indiana on Tap. Check out their summary here.

We’ve been brewing with our beer buds from down south, New Albanian Brewing Co., and offered an array of Indiana craft beer last Friday night at a tap takeover upstairs at Nick’s English Hut. We had a great time hanging with the guys, and if you move quickly, you can still get a taste of our collaboration at the Brewpub at Lennie’s.
The crown jewel of Craft Beer Week, Bloomington Craft Beer Fest attracted thousands of craft beer lovers on an amazingly gorgeous day at the Woolery Mill on Bloomington’s south side. Revelers enjoyed Midnight Delight–our collaboration with Quaff On!, Upland, and Function breweries–along with a head-spinning array of other finely crafted brews.
