Last night, Hoosier Beer Geek held their Pint Night at Tomlinson Tap Room in Indianapolis, featuring original 10-Speed and two varieties: one infused with vanilla/coconut and the other with pineapple (both pictured above).
At the release party last Saturday, we celebrated 10-Speed’s return in Bloomington by starting out at the Brewpub at Lennie’s and enjoying 10-Speed infused varieties on cask.
From there, the Blooming Fools Hash House Harriers took us on a wild and crazy adventure across Bloomington, where dozens of participants cycled around town like madmen following (and often being misled by) obscure marks on the roads–baking flour thrown down by the leaders–in a scavenger hunt to find a tapped keg of 10-Speed Hoppy Wheat.
On the amazingly beautiful, sunny spring afternoon, we finally found our destination: Salt Creek Cycles. The Salt Creek crew graciously tuned up our bikes at the beginning of the trip and hosted revelry at their shop, as we enjoyed pints of 10-Speed.
We then rode back to the Brewpub, where the Blooming Fools Hash House Harriers led us in song, and–you guessed it–more drinking.
Big thanks to everyone who participated in the ride, and to Salt Creek Cycles, the Blooming Fools Hash House Harriers, Hoosier Beer Geek, Tomlinson Tap Room and Lino’s.
Stop by the Brewpub at Lennie’s for your own pint or growler of 10-Speed, and look for it at these fine establishments throughout Indiana. Cheers!
